Ms. Alisha Neal has a long-standing career in managing healthcare finances. As the current Assistant Vice President - Finance at Ochsner Hospital, Ms. Neal is uniquely positioned to share her experiences in mastering the challenges of informatics and financial resources for nurses. In her current position, she develops proformas by evaluating every opportunity while considering operations, the market and the impact, especially financial, for all parties involved. She works closely with the CEO, COO, CFO and CMO to prioritize and organize program strategies and opportunities and examines data on a regular basis as a means to drive business.

As the former administrator in the departments of surgery, as well as the neuroscience service line & department of neurosurgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, she directed the departments’ human resources, finance and budgeting activities, strategic planning and department operations while monitoring all coding and billing activities.
