Dr. Cynthia A. Langford, APRN, PhD, has practiced as a Nurse Practitioner since 1998. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and has practiced in a variety of clinical settings in the NP role including College Health, School Health, a mobile outreach unit to homeless adults, and an internal medicine practice. She has been an educator since 1984 and joined Loyola University in 2014. She maintains an active clinical practice in uptown New Orleans, Louisiana, currently providing care in an internal medicine practice.

Dr. Langford has precepted, taught and mentored university students across three disciplines at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels in universities in Tennessee and Louisiana. These disciplines include educators, rehabilitation counselors, nurses, and nurse practitioners. She also has written numerous grants and managed federally-funded large-scale state-wide projects.
