Lindsey White

My name is Lindsey White. I am from Leesville, South Carolina and I have been a nurse for 14.5 years. After graduating with my BSN from Clemson University, I worked in two intensive care units for a total of eight years where I developed a solid foundation for my nursing career. I then transitioned to the heart catheterization and electrophysiology labs at the same hospital before my husband’s job promotion moved us from Charleston to the Columbia area.

In Columbia, I have worked in the CT and EP departments of a large cardiology clinic and also in the PACU of an orthopedic hospital. Currently, I am a preoperative and PACU nurse at an orthopedic ambulatory surgery center. I feel blessed that my manager and all my coworkers are tremendously supportive of my goal to become a family nurse practitioner. My objective is to provide primary care to a medically underserved population. Specifically, I would like to care for people in the rural areas of my home state of South Carolina.

I have a wonderful husband, Brian, and we have two darling dogs. We live on Lake Murray and enjoy boating, spending time with family and friends, and Clemson football. Our 2017 has already been made extra special by watching our much-loved Clemson Tigers win the National Championship trophy.

I am thoroughly enjoying the FNP program at Loyola and look forward to telling everyone about my experiences.
